Man arrested in connection with break, enter and theft at gun shop

The West District RCMP arrested a 29 year old man from Lakeville, N.B., in connection to a break, enter and theft that occurred yesterday.
Police responded to an alarm at The Gun Dealer on Harvey Road in McAdam, N.B., shortly after 4 a.m. When police arrived several suspects fled in a vehicle and on foot into the woods.
The 29 year old man was arrested a short time later in a wooded area behind the store. He was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
It is believed that no firearms were stolen. However, the suspects did steal ammunition and a gun case.
The investigation is continuing.
Police are asking for the public's assistance in identifying those who may have been involved in this incident. If anyone has any information they are asked to call the McAdam Detachment at 506-784-1205.
