NWS members in Caribou getting nervous as government shutdown continues

The partial government shutdown has reached its 28th day. The longest shutdown ever continues to weigh on federal employees here in the County who are working without pay.

Victor Nouhan and Priscilla Farrar are members of the National Weather Service Employee Organization.
Both are working without pay. They've already gone one period without pay and now they're approaching their second.
Both are extremely stressed by the situation and have considered different loan options.
They've worked to minimize their expenses but say what makes them most nervous is if something unexpected comes up that they need to pay for.
