Senator Collins weighs in on the government shutdown

Maine Senator Susan Collins says there's no reason the government should be shut down.

We caught up with her yesterday while she was on her way back to Washington.
She says she's been having conversations with colleagues on both sides of the aisle as well as white house officials.
She is very anxious to get the government reopened...for people who work for the departments and agencies affected, as well as those who use their services.
A disagreement over the funding of President Trump's proposed border wall is what led to the partial shutdown.
