A Single Vehicle Crash on the Spaulding Lake Road in Oakfield

On Saturday afternoon, around 2:00 p.m., the Aroostook County Sheriff's Office took a report of a single vehicle crash on the Spaulding Lake Road in Oakfield.

Through a police investigation they determined that Stella Fagaley (68) of Nashua, New Hampshire was traveling eastbound on the Spaulding Lake Road when she went off the road into some trees.

Fagaley was transported to the hospital by Houlton Ambulance with non life threatening injuries.

The vehicle was towed from the scene due to disabling damage. The airbags did deploy and Fagaley was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash.

It's is believed that a medical issue caused the crash.

Deputy Sheriff Palmer was assisted at the scene by Oakfield Fire Department and Deputy Sheriff Alishia Ledger.
