AROOSTOOK COUNTY, Maine - With an excessively deep snowpack in Aroostook County, conditions will have to be monitored closely as temperatures warm and snow melts.

Donny Dumont, Warning Coordination Meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Caribou, says now is the time to prepare for the potential for flooding.

Flood Safety Preparedness Week continues all week, and safety information can be found on the NWS Caribou website.
