Staying warm this winter

“Cold temperatures in and of itself is bad enough but the wind-chill component of this is really important.”

It’s that time of year and Dr. Christopher Ewing is warning people of the dangers of cold weather.

“Signs of frost bite are usually going to be changes in color of the skin, so blanching, or whiting of the skin, in addition there is going to be pain and tingling. Any signs of skin changes that don’t resolve as you gradually rewarm could be more than just a mild case of frost bite and we should probably see that."
