Taste of the County: Parmesan Crusted Chicken Breast

Set up a little breading station. Take the chicken breast, flour, egg wash (which is basically scrambled eggs and a little bit of water), and cheese. Season both sides of the chicken breast. Add a little salt, oregano, pepper, and garlic powder. And then flip them and do the other side.

Once they're seasoned, dredge them lightly in flour.

Saute a pan with oil, butter, or whatever you'd like to use. A non-stick pan is preferable because the cheese has a tendency to want to stick. Make sure it's not too hot because you want the cheese to brown.

Get it golden brown on the bottom side, flip it over and then toss it in the oven to finish it and cook it to 165 degrees. Have your sauce heating up while this is cooking.

It normally takes 20-25 minutes, but it's always safe to check with a thermometer.
