The community will be able to take their own look inside soon

- Many have noticed that there is now a name on the side of the Community Center in Presque Isle. It is now the Sargent Family Community Center. Floors are being laid and preparations are being made for opening day for the community to finally come together under one roof. According to Director, Chris Beaulieu, things are moving along. The floors are being finished and there's a little bit of ground work that has to happen outside.

The community center will have a high school sized gymnasium with a walking track around the perimeter. There will be bleachers for spectators. The center will also have the ability to split the gym in half to run multiple programs at the same time. Locker rooms will have quick access to the gym. The locker rooms have showers, bathrooms and lockers.

There are other rooms that can also be rented such as a senior room and a multi purpose room. These can be used for parties such as bridal showers or birthdays. It is also an ideal space for meetings or groups that want to utilize that type of setting.

The community will be able to take their own look inside on Saturday, October 29th at an open house. The center will be open for activities starting October 30th.
