Two arrests were made yesterday following and incident in Sherman

The Aroostook county sherriffs made two arrest after an incident in Sherman.

Around 10:00 AM, yesterday, Sheriff's Deputy Rick York was patrolling the Golden Ridge Road in Sherman when he spotted two people walking together, one of whom was 38 year old Cynthia Burley of Patten. Deputy York was aware that Burley had an active arrest warrant for an unpaid fine. Burley claimed a false identity when approached by the deputy. 29 year old Caleb Trembly of Patten, who was walking with Burley, became confrontational with the Deputy and tried to interfere. After a brief struggle, Deputy York was able to place Burley into custody. Trembly was also arrested by Deputy York and charged with obstructing government administration
