Wardens warn of rising waters in Aroostook County

WESTMANLAND, Maine - Rising waters in Aroostook County are creating concern for residents of Westmanland.

Game wardens utilized a Maine Warden Service airboat this afternoon to evacuate one woman from her home and bring supplies to others.

Rising water levels on Madawaska Stream have isolated some people in their homes due to recent rains and warming temperatures.

Game wardens say the Little Madawaska Lake Road in Westmanland is now impassible.
