Easton Boys looking forward to trip to Bangor

The Easton boys basketball team will be competing at the Cross Insurance Center. The Bears have a bye into the quarterfinals and they are excited to be back in Bangor.
(Isaac Currier):" My freshman and sophomore year we had made it. Last year was really tough. We had a tough schedule last year and it was kind of hard to not be able to get there again, but we are excited this year to get back to Bangor. Most of us have never been down there theirs' just a couple of us that have even stepped on the court."

(Camden Michaud):" It is going to be a new experience. I think it is going to be intense. There will be a little more pressure, but I think we can do good."

The Bears played several teams very tough this year. They finished 6th with and 11-7 record

(Cody Closson):" On a good stretch there where we beat Southern by one on a buzzer beater down there and then we strung together some other good games beating Hodgdon and a great performance against Central Aroostook. We really started to play some good basketball in the middle of the season."

The Bears are very young this year with just two seniors on the team.

Michaud:" Eight sophomores I think this year we are trying to get far, but I think in the future we will have a lot more options."

The Bears worked hard every game and they go back to the basics.

Closson:"It's about fundamentals for us. When we play fundamentally strong that is when we are at our best. We like compact the paint and make it tough for the opposing team to score and take advantage on the offensive end and cherish every possession."
