Three County basketball players are having success in college. All three at one time or another were under consideration for Miss Basketball. Parise Rossignol of Van Buren who now plays at the University of Maine, Hannah Graham who graduated from Presque Isle is a member of the Bowdoin College team and Kenzie Worcester of Washburn, a senior at Husson have all had success and been in the National Playoffs. Rossignol would love to help the Bears get back to March Madness.
(Parise Rossignol):" The goal remains the same we want to win our conference and this year we want to earn a higher seed. That is why I think these tough non conference games are huge for us. When it comes to making the seedings and you see we get North Carolina that might help us get a higher seed."

Hannah Graham is a member of the undefeated Bowdoin College Polar Bears. Bowdoin is currently ranked number one in the nation in NCAA Division 3 and lost in the National Championship game last year.

(Hannah Graham):" It has been a really exciting start and we are 8-0. We are anxious to get back after Christmas. Being number one is very cool and exciting. I think it speaks a lot of our development of our program. I think she has been there 11 years now and the focus is team culture and I think it speaks to her, but at the same time is the first half of the season and rankings don't matter until the end."

Kenzie Worcester has scored over 3500 points in her basketball career. Worcester has been in the NCAA Division three playoffs two years in a row and would love to get there again.

(Kenzie Worcester):" Last year we got back and lost to Bowdoin really bad and this year I want redemption and make it competitive and I really do want to win one more game."
