Matt's Fantasy Football Minute - Week 9

PRESQUE ISLE, Me. (WAGM) - Yesterday was November 1st. Yikes. Is your team clinging on for dear life like the leaves in Aroostook County? Ready to throw in the towel like Jon Gruden and Oakland? Never do that.

Even if you are 0 and 8 and your team has been awful all year long, you still get to play a pivotal role down the stretch: the spoiler. You can make the right moves now and you can sit on your couch and laugh at your buddies as your team kicks them out of playoff contention. Because that's what fantasy football is all about right? Having ten to twelve long time friends and actively rooting for their demise. Almost brings a tear to my eye. Anyway here are the four dudes you should pick up this week

Fitzmagic is back! And he should be available. Carolina may not be the sexiest match-up ever, but Fitzpatrick produces nearly every time he is out on the field. He has three very capable wide receivers who are able to either outrun, DeSean Jackson, or out jump, Chris Godwin, Mike Evans, defenders. Also, Fitzpatrick is playing like he has nothing to lose. Huck em, chuck em, foootball. If you need to stream a QB, this is your guy.

Jamaal Williams has been a disappointment so far this season. No if ands or buts about it. Hasn't eclipsed the 35 yard mark in a game yet, but the reason why he is a sneaky good add is because of the Montgomery trade. Aaron Jones is the primary back in Green Bay, but Williams could see goalline work and increased usage. Don't plug him into your lineups right away, but he should occupy a spot on your bench.

Another add based on a trade is Denver wideout Courtland Sutton. The Broncos have enough faith in this rookie to ship off Demaryous Thomas and you know what else they shipped with him? Targets. 56 in fact. Most of which he's done nothing with. Sutton has the potential to emerge as a top target option across from Emmanuel Sanders and is a no brainer add and start this week.

Finally at tight end, Ed Dickson. The Seahawks have been waiting for the athletic tight end's return and he delivered last week with 54 yards and a touchdown. That's his first week back and now he has the opportunity to build against a Chargers defense which can beat through the air. Russell Wilson is getting stronger as the season goes on and such as it's been all year, tight end is weak, so you can afford to take a flyer on Dickson.
