Matt's Fantasy Football Minute: The Final Episode

PRESQUE ISLE, Me. (WAGM) - For most leagues this is the first week of the playoffs, and speaking of that, quick shoutout to my friend Tommy Farrell, who started the season losing the first seven in a row, did he throw in the towel? NO! He battled back and won the next six to make the playoffs. A true fantasy miracle. Tis the season I suppose. For others, this is last week of the regular season. For me? It's the last edition of Matt's Fantasy Football Minute. It has been an honor providing really hit or miss waiver additions this fall. Without further ado, let's dive into my top three adds for this week.

Buffalo?! Yes, Buffalo. Josh Allen over the past two weeks has been a fantasy stud and I don't see any reason why he wouldn't continue that trend against the New York Jets. Yes, as a Pats fan this is like watching your two little brothers scuffling over your table scraps, but points will happen and Allen will be the one scoring them. The rookie out of Wyoming rushed for 135 yards against the Dolphins last week. Rushing quarterbacks win championships. Add him, start him.

Actually a couple of streaming options for running back this weekend, but this guy will have the best opportunity to get some meaning points. Justin Jackson, a rookie out of Northwestern, took over for the injured Melvin Gordon and so far, he's produced. 8 yards per carry and he scored a touchdown against the Steelers last week. Anytime you see a guy with that kind of yards per carry or YPC you have to think he's workload will increase. I think it will. So if you're a team with the injury bug, give this a guy a look.

A familiar face for Pats fans. For some reason I just have this feeling that Danny is out for blood in this game. He played like doo doo in the first game in Foxboro, but he's the Dolphins leading wide receiver and he's gotten at least six targets in five out of the last six games. Danny WANTS to make the Pats not signing him hurt. Oh, the Dolphins will still lose, but Dola will get his.

That's all for this season's edition of Matt's Fantasy Football Minute, it's been a pleasure. Enjoy the games this weekend.
