Narcan training to be held in Caribou

On the heels of Governor Janet Mills signing an executive order Wednesday aimed at helping the state deal with the opioid epidemic, training on how to administer Narcan is taking place on Monday in Caribou. Governor Mills' executive order will make the overdose antidote Naloxone more widely available throughout the state. The training will be happening monthly at the Road To Recovery Community Center in Caribou.

Scammers pose as Emera representatives

If you've received a call from Emera asking for money you could be on the line with a scammer. Mid-April marks the time when the company can start disconnecting people if they have unpaid bills. Scammers have taken this opportunity to contact people to ask for money over the phone.
