Advocates for people in recovery say its critical employment hiring practices evolve to be more inclusive to people in recovery. Police are asking people to lock their vehicles The Presque Isle Police Department is investigating recent reports of car burglaries in the Cedar Street section of town. Sgt. Lucas Hafford says with the holidays, comes an increase in criminal activity.
In honor of Veterans Day, The University of Maine Fort Kent held a special flag raising ceremony Saturday afternoon. The Student's Veterans Association at UMFK invited veterans to join them for the ceremony. Two of those veterans were Leroy McKenzie, an American Legion Americanism Officer of District 17 and Congressman Jared Golden. Both say they feel honored to be included.
