Caribou City coordinator receives Innovation and Creativity award

A big honor for a local woman. Last night Christina Kane Gibson was presented with a 2019 Governor's Conference on Tourism Innovation and Creativity award. Kane Gibson is in charge of Marketing and Events for the City of Caribou. She was nominated for the award by another city employee after the work she did when BikeMaine came through Caribou. When presenting her the award, the director of the Maine Office of Tourism touted Caribou's unique sense of "place", which she said hit home for her. She says this is an honor she shares with her special community.
