Aroostook County is in need of weather observers

There are currently only 4 active spotters in The County, participating in the CoCoRaHS or Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network program. The CoCoRaHS network of volunteer weather observers send in useful precipitation amounts and weather conditions happening in their area. The National Coordinator for the program says that more people are needed. Cocorahs.org
